			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>AccessText Network, a new online service for college students with print-related disabilities, was the focus of an <a title="Inside Higher Education" href="http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2009/08/28/access" target="_blank">Inside Higher Education</a> article.  Widmeyer helped to secure this story for the Association of American Publishers (AAP), which created AccessText.  Bruce Hildebrand, Executive Director for Higher Education of the Association of American Publishers, was interviewed on the benefits of the new system for disabled students and how AAP is a driving force behind this new technology.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Widmeyer’s public affairs practice has been working on behalf of the Association of American Publishers to raise awareness of the <a title="AccessText Network" href="http://www.accesstext.org/" target="_blank">AccessText Network</a> – a new national online database that will make it easier and quicker for students with print-related disabilities to get the textbooks they need for their college courses.  Widmeyer’s efforts resulted in an impressive piece in the <a title="Chronicle of Higher Education" href="http://chronicle.com/blogPost/New-Program-Seeks-to-Make-A/7742/" target="_blank"><em>Chronicle of Higher Education</em></a> quoting an AAP source on the benefits of the new system for disabled students.</p>
