As part of the Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE competition, funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, the DASH+ contest challenges high school students to design the eco-friendly dashboard of the future. Of the more than 100 teams already registered, over 20 are from the State of Michigan. Widmeyer secured media placement on the contest in a recent article in The Detroit News, which highlighted the DASH+ presence during the North American International Auto Show’s Public Education Day.
