Widmeyer’s public affairs practice has been working on behalf of the Association of American Publishers to raise awareness of the AccessText Network – a new national online database that will make it easier and quicker for students with print-related disabilities to get the textbooks they need for their college courses. Widmeyer’s efforts resulted in an impressive piece in the Chronicle of Higher Education quoting an AAP source on the benefits of the new system for disabled students.
