Living in New York, my day-to-day reality is literally bumping into all types of people. Amid the chaos and never-ending energy of the City, I’m inspired by the moment when we understand, through the sharing of our stories with each other, that while we’re unique, we’re also very similar.

As the daughter of immigrant parents, I’ve had to occupy the sometimes unclear boundaries between world views and have learned to synthesize perspectives and opinions that on first blush may not appear to sync with one another. I’ve learned to listen, through the noise, language barriers, issues and challenges, for what is important, what matters most. What matters to me is finding and sharing those unique stories, at once personal and universal; creating connections and understanding where once there were none.

I’ve worked with everyone from engineers to financial whiz kids, and nothing compares to that moment when you understand a client’s needs and what really motivates him/her. That passion and energy are clear in each one of Widmeyer’s clients and in the work ethic of our dedicated and talented staff. When I’m not telling clients’ stories, I’m chasing after my twins and opera-singing husband. It’s a busy life!
