I’m an account executive on the Public Affairs team. When it comes to PR, I am fascinated by mass media’s role in our society and enjoy conducting media outreach on behalf of our clients. Outside of the office I enjoy music, travel, film and the great outdoors (even if that means Central Park).

Biography:

Jaymie DeGaetano serves as an account executive in Widmeyer’s Public Affairs practice, bringing a wide range of experience and skills to his clients. 

At Widmeyer, DeGaetano has provided clients with reputation building efforts, rapid response crisis communication, media relations and social media strategy and management.  DeGaetano has supported clients that are leaders in the energy, environment and health and wellness sectors, such as the American Gas Association, Nestlé in the United States, the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center and the Brain Injury Research Institute.

Prior to joining the Widmeyer team, DeGaetano completed communications internships at the Valerie James Showroom in New York and the Department of Marketing Communications at SUNY College at Brockport.  DeGaetano received a Bachelors of Science in Communication Studies and French from Brockport and spent a year studying abroad at the world renowned La Sorbonne in Paris, France.
