Figure This! was a multi-year campaign supported by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education to emphasize the importance of high-quality math education and to stimulate family engagement in middle school students' math learning. Widmeyer's work included developing all collateral materials -- including animated character icons, logos and messaging for the Web site and informational booklet; forging partnerships with dozens of corporations and other organizations; and media outreach that resulted in nearly 100 million audience impressions for the campaign.
