Health & Wellness

Health care is changing. Is your business changing with it?

Widmeyer Communications counsels clients on how to stay ahead of societal demands and shifts in health care expectations by positioning themselves in the emerging well-being space. We firmly believe the next trend in health care is defining, measuring and improving the well-being of employees and society.

We are experts in the literature and best practices of well-being and this unique expertise is instrumental in keeping our clients ahead of the changing health care landscape. Our in-house Research staff brings an added dimension by helping our understanding of target audience attitudes and receptivity to messages.  Then our Digital/Creative team can use the power of social media to translate the messaging into easily accessible formats.

Client Portfolio

Pfizer Inc.
Widmeyer and Pfizer have worked together for four years to position the organization as a science‐based company to a community of employees, thought leaders and the public. Most recently, we launched Think Science Now a program centered on allowing Pfizer’s science and medical professionals to share information about their work through blogs.

Nestlé S.A.
We support Nestlé’s corporate media relations and public affairs efforts in the United States. In addition to building awareness of key business milestones, we are helping to position Nestlé’s business philosophy, known as Creating Shared Value among key stakeholders and media while establishing an online presence across various social media channels.

West Virginia University Hospitals-Department of Neurosurgery
The impressive West Virginia University Hospitals‐Department of Neurosurgery and Widmeyer have been working together to enhance the department’s national visibility, specifically by drawing attention to its innovative surgical programs, teams of surgeons and groundbreaking research studies.

W.K. Kellogg Foundation
We counsel the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic foundations in the U.S., on strategies to communicate about its health care programs in the context of the current health reform debate.  Our efforts include designing communications strategies around existing programs and grants the foundation is supporting.

The John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center
Widmeyer is driving the Cancer Center’s online and offline communications strategies and market research, helping the organization achieve national recognition for its talent and extraordinary research endeavors.  Working with our digital team, we’re also currently redesigning the Cancer Center’s Web site to reflect their position as a thought leader in cancer care.
